histopathology report:

diagnosis
neck lump, excision biopsy : Pilomatrixoma.

gross description:
the specimen is received in formalin, labelled with patient data, and designated "back of neck lump". it consists of a piece of tissue measuring 3.5 x 2.5 x 2cm. cut sections reveal keratinous material.

microscopic description:
sections show a wall circumscribed proliferation of basaloid cells associated with "ghost cells", extruded keratin and foreign body giant cell reaction. coarse calcifications are discerned. there is no evidence of malignancy.


although i didnt understand a word of that, i just decided to post it cos it sounded SO COOL. xD anyway, the exams are really really really soon! WE SHALL PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER EVERYDAY. ((:
